About Tattoo Love

Tattoo Love is a site about tattoos that mean something: for partners, friends, family and the people we've lost. It also has straight answers to the questions everyone asks before their first tattoo.

Who we are

Tattoo Love is published by Timebomb Piercing & Tattoos. Timebomb started tattooing in London in 2003, and today has studios at 109 Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth and 22 George Street in Croydon. Both are registered with their local councils.

Our guides are based on what happens in a working studio every day: the questions people ask at the counter, the healing problems people ring up about, and the tattoos people come back to have covered up.

Photos are of tattoos done by Timebomb artists, unless a caption says otherwise.
Flash drawings (the simple line designs on idea pages) are original to Tattoo Love. You're welcome to take them to any artist as a starting point.
